The Value of Diversity: Often what we see is different from what we experience in life. Society attempts to roll DEI into one category and only considers it a matter of race. DEI is much more than checking boxes on a form. DEI provides a foundation for understanding the differences we bring to an organization and the importance of valuing the unique qualities each of us brings to an organization. This presentation defines DEI terms and provides an understanding of unconscious bias, and identifies several ways we can address bias.
